I'm Kenton and as a sports fan who loves to have a good time, I'll be your tour guide for the night showing you where to catch the best of the action as it unfolds.
People often say that life's a beach, and Barasti Beach Bar takes this saying quite literally. Known for its picturesque beachfront location and the ginormous screen that broadcasts live sporting events, Barasti easily stands out among Dubai’s sports bar crowd. During the FIFA World Cup, this place turns into a mini-stadium, with crowds roaring in tandem with every kick, save, and goal. It adds a nice coastal touch to your sports viewing experience!
If you're a fan of an elegant yet exuberant setting, then Bridgewater Tavern is definitely one sports bar you should visit. Located in the hub of Dubai’s luxury district, this tavern does not compromise on grace and elegance for the sake of a good game. You’d be nestled in plush leather seats, sipping a smooth brew and munching refined bar snacks, while watching your favorite team on large screens. A perfect mix of party and posh!
In the heart of Dubai Sports City resides Kickers Sports Bar, a hidden gem that sums up a true sports bar experience with some extra goodness thrown in. A spacious and comfortable setting that makes you feel at home, supplemented by an extensive menu to cater to every craving. By the way, if you're looking to catch a Premier League game, be early, the place usually gets packed!
When it comes to conceptual sports bar design, Qube sets the bar high, both figuratively and literally. A one-of-a-kind, cube-shaped bar that offers a 360-degree view of all the action taking place from every angle. Think giant screens playing your favored match, complemented by a miniature cricket pitch, a snooker table, and even an automated horse-racing game. It’s an unconventional yet cozy haven for every sports enthusiast.
Situated beneath the radar at basement level in the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort, The Underground Pub is indeed a sports escape you’d hate to miss. The city's only British tube-station-themed pub, with a London-style atmosphere that cannot be duplicated. Naturally, football dominates the screens here, but it's the atmosphere that really hooks the patrons. You can almost hear the crowd cheer at Stamford Bridge… or maybe that’s just the pubgoers.
The last on our list but certainly not the least, Nezesaussi Grill (pronounced "Nez-e-sar-see") is the city's famed tri-nation celebration of the best in New Zealand, South Africa, and Australia. With over a dozen screens, along with themed nights and sports trivia competitions, it’s a place that truly embodies the spirit of sports. A word of advice though, make sure you're on time on match days, otherwise, you might end up standing!
Dubai's nightlife is as eclectic and enjoyable as the city itself. And if you're a sports fan that loves hitting the bars, you're in for a fantastic experience. I always say, the game might be played thousands of miles away, but your heart is in it right where you're seated.
